Rise to Bloom invited staff and faculty to search for hope and well-being as they participate in a speech competition. The task was to ghostwrite a speech to USJ president, Professor Salim Daccache sj. We received 12 inspirational speeches which we urge you to read. Rise to Bloom invited students to empower their fellows and USJ community by participating in a speech competition. The task consisted of ghostwriting an empowering speech addressing the current challenges of Lebanon to be addressed by an influential figure of the authors’ choosing. We received 30 speeches of unique quality: 13 speeches in English, 13 Arabic, and 4 French languages, which reflects the trilingual power of USJ.
