The USJ Strategic Council held its first meeting for the 2018-2019 academic year at the Campus of Sports and Innovation, under the chairmanship of the Rector of the university, Professor Salim Daccache, s.j., on Saturday November 24, 2018.

During its working session, the Council reviewed the latest news concerning the university, notably development projects, academic projects and achievements, fundraising, and advances in the university’s accreditation process. It also examined the Board of Trustees project and the restructuring of human resources.

The recommendations resulting from this working session will be forwarded to the relevant committees to be studied and subsequently submitted to the Select Council and the University Council for approval.

This working session was preceded, as usual, by a breakfast at L’Atelier, the restaurant of USJ’s Institute of Business Management’s hotel training program. During the session, participants discussed the latest local and regional developments.
