Born in Barcelona (1958), he studied Philosophy in Barcelona (MA), and Philosophy, Theology and History of Religions at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), where he obtained his PhD in Philosophy. He has been Visiting Professor at the University of Chicago.
