Ladies and Gentlemen,

During this unstable period, please find attached a communication plan and security measures, in order to be prepared for any emergency situation. Our intention is not to alarm the community, but rather to inform, educate, and equip ourselves to handle any potential contingency.

In the safety guides (available in both French and English), you will find instructions to follow in the event of an attack/a risk of war, a fire, or an earthquake. In the communication means documents (French and English), you will discover the various tools we have made available to keep you informed. We kindly request that you regularly check your USJ email address, as well as the University's WhatsApp group to which you belong or join the group relevant to your institution or campus by inquiring with your institution. The emergency numbers are the extension to dial for each campus.

With respect to courses, each institution will take the necessary measures based on the specific circumstances of its students, its requirements, and its needs to ensure that teaching can proceed under different scenarios. Each dean and director will inform their faculty and students of the measures taken or to be undertaken as required.

With respect to security on campuses, each administrator will prepare evacuation drills to train you and will provide emergency contact numbers and alert channels.
