On May 20, 2024, the alumni of IGE and IUT were reunited for a dazzling evening to rekindle connections. The event was brought to life thanks to a course titled "Events Management" offered by the Institute of Business Administration (IGE) to Marketing & Advertising students and Hospitality Management & Culinary Arts students. As part of their final project, students organized this event to engage alumni and celebrate 150 years of USJ and 45 years of the Institute of Business Administration (IGE).
During the event, food and drinks were served, sparking conversations between former colleagues and instructors. The evening featured a performance by two talented IGE students: Jimmy Mehanna and Myriam Semaan, who captivated the crowd with their voices. Attendees also had the chance to meet DJ Rodge, an alumnus of the Institute, who made a special appearance. His music mixes united guests on the dance floor, creating unforgettable memories. Speeches were delivered highlighting the Institute's heritage, which was referred to as "The Elite Institute" by Prof. Salim Daccache, Rector of USJ, during his address. The event concluded with awards and a raffle, the proceeds of which will support IGE students. "We want our students to stay at IGE despite their financial struggles," said Prof. Celine Boutros Saab, Director of IGE.
One of the evening's highlights was the official launch of the IGE Alumni Association, with Mr. Naji Boulos announced as its president. This new Association aims to strengthen the bonds between alumni and the Institute, providing ongoing support and networking opportunities for all members.
