A civil society response to denial of justice

What can be done when governmental and international Tribunals fail to address massive violations of human rights?  

A panel of international experts and practitioners of People’s Tribunals will be sharing their insights on civil society bodies that seek to advance justice when official bodies of Justice fail to address violations of human rights:

  • Nursyahbani Katjasungkana: The Tokyo Women's Tribunal on sexual slavery.

The session will be moderated by Carmen Abou Jaoude, within the programme’s unit on Dealing with the Past.
