Tough times never last, but tough people do.

We, students of Lebanon and more specifically, students of USJ, are the generation of hope. We are Generation Hope (Help Others Pursue Education) and we will always strive for a better future!

Education is a fundamental and universal human right, and it has been the sacred mission of USJ since its founding. To carry on its educational mission, and to ensure that high quality education remains accessible to all, USJ has not increased its tuition fees, despite the serious economic and financial crisis Lebanon is going through.

In the aftermath of the August 4 blast that struck all of Lebanon and destroyed Beirut, USJ was the hardest hit university, and yet the USJ Community has not lost hope. For 145 years, USJ has been leading the way to build a pluralistic Lebanon, and it continues to do so. This is the legacy that our predecessors entrusted to us, and this is what we will pass on to future generations. For us, helping our country is our duty in the current situation.

Now is the time to unite and stand once again in solidarity with those facing different forms of hardship.

Education is a sustainable investment in the future. So, join us in building the future of this generation of hope, of Generation HOPE.
