Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation for Breast Cancer Survivors

The main objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacity of multidisciplinary rehabilitation program involving physical therapy, nutrition, and psychology in enhancing the quality of life and the well-being of breast cancer survivors. This pilot study will involve 10 breast cancer survivors who had a surgery and reconstruction of a primary breast cancer carcinoma. Participants will be recruited at least 3 weeks post-adjuvant chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, additional inclusion and exclusion criteria will be applied. Participants will be divided into experimental and control group. Each participant will engage in individual sessions with a physical therapist, a nutritionist, and a psychologist. Additionally, participants in the experimental group will receive two sessions animated by the therapist all together. Participants will be required to complete a questionnaire assessing their satisfaction, well-being and quality of life at the end of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation program.
