Assessment of Lebanese private schools’ readiness for medical emergencies, with a focus on school nurses.

Description :

This study aims at assessing the levels of preparedness of Lebanese private schools to medical emergencies, and to determine to what extent nurses feel capable of handling health-related life-threatening emergencies that could occur during the school day. This study follows a quantitative research design, the data will be collected through a self-administered questionnaire that will be completed by school nurses registered at the order of nurses in Lebanon. The study will focus mainly on private schools in Lebanon since there are no nurses in the public schools as it is not required by the Ministry of Education (MoE).
