Relaxation Techniques

This course will enable students to recognize and practice various relaxation techniques. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of two specific relaxation techniques and apply them. The course will introduce students to different breath control techniques, linking these to the effects of relaxation and breathing on various aspects of psychomotor therapy. They will also develop a thorough understanding of anatomy to optimize their body use and will experiment with physical relaxation techniques. Students will be taught the basics of the SOUBIRAN relaxation method, including recognizing favorable and unfavorable contexts for its application. They will learn how to manage initial consultations and formulate appropriate relaxation requests. Additionally, they will master the assessment of relaxation through an appropriate evaluation process. The tactile dimension will be emphasized, with a particular focus on the quality of therapeutic touch during the application of the SOUBIRAN relaxation method.
