This course introduces the fundamental principles of color theory as a creative tool for fashion concept development and visual communication. Students explore the color wheel, color harmonies, and the expressive qualities of color through research, storytelling, and visual analysis. Working collaboratively, they investigate color-driven themes, aesthetics, or objects to develop digital visual content, curate cohesive color compositions, and communicate concepts through contemporary platforms. Individually, students translate their research into original mood boards and color palettes, demonstrating personal interpretation while maintaining a unified conceptual direction.
