This course, given in L6, aims at helping students to be familiar with technical and AI texts. It teaches them how to understand a new technical or AI concept, through adequate focused research and reading, in order to translate it. Students are asked to analyze the different components of these specific texts, from their particular layout and syntax to their language register and terminology. Also, students learn how to overcome the linguistic and terminological obstacles they encounter during the translation of such texts from English into Arabic, given the lack of references in the target language.
