Calculus II

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: • Modeling and solving problems using sequences and series • Learning an exhaustive range of discrete structures for data scientists • A programming MATLAB package designed for computations pertaining to sequences, series, & parametric and polar curves. • Approximating a function around a point (Taylor & Maclaurin) • Evaluating limits, continuity and differentiability of multivariable functions • Identifying local and absolute extrema of a simple surface • Analyzing and interpreting parametric equations • Converting from Cartesian to polar coordinates • Analyzing 3-D geometric figures
