Introduction to Speech and Language therapy (SLT) is a course given in the 1st semester of the basic curriculum. It contains an introduction to SLT and aims to define the profession and to describe SLT’s different areas of activity. In this course, SLT scope of competence as well as qualifications will be detailed. The students will come across the profession’s history in Lebanon and worldwide. The course also contains a reflection around one’s own professional development.
