Effect of three In vitro aging protocols on the micro tensile bond strength of composite restoration.

Description :

The main objective of this study is to compare different aging conditions including Cyclic Loading (known as a mechanical fatigue test), Thermocycling (known as a temperature fatigue test) and combined methods, in order to see which one is more suitable for future in vitro studies. Composite restorations on wisdom teeth will be used to compare the different groups by evaluating their micro-tensile bond strength as well as their marginal adaptation. This study will be a continuation of previous in vitro studies in the field of ‘’in vitro aging conditions’’ and will give us an answer on which specific protocol to use in further studies, while describing the behavioral of composite restorations on molars under clinical conditions. This study will play a major role for further in vitro studies in the writing of their protocols on which artificial aging condition to use.
