Biography Hayat AZOURI TANNOUS
Professor Hayat Azouri Tannous is the
Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Saint-Joseph University Lebanon and a
Correspondent member of the National Academy of Pharmacy in France. She is a
teacher at USJ since 1993. She is also head of the Toxicology Laboratory and
the Poison Prevention Center at the Faculty of Pharmacy, USJ, since 1995. She has a doctor
of pharmacy degree (doctorate of practice, USJ, 1984), a DEA (Diplôme d’Etudes
Approfondies en Toxicologie/1985) and a PhD “University Doctorate in Toxicology”
from the Faculty of Pharmacy of University
Paris SUD (1989). Professor Azouri is mainly interested in clinical toxicology
(24/7 Poison Control Center), immuno-toxicology, food toxicology and drug
addiction. She is the author of several international publications and several
national and international oral communications.
