Dr. Dany Mezher is a distinguished professor with a rich academic and professional background. Holding an Electrical Engineering degree from USJ, a DEA in Applied Mathematics, and a PhD in High Performance Engineering from Université de Rennes 1, France (2001), Dr. Mezher has been a dedicated educator at USJ since 1992. Starting as a lab assistant, Dr. Mezher's career at USJ has seen a steady rise, culminating in a tenured professorship. Over the years, Dr. Mezher has held several key positions, including Chair of the Electrical Engineering Department, Director of the National Institution for Telecommunication and Informatics, and since 2019, Rector's Delegate for IT Affairs. Dr. Mezher's research interests are focused on High Performance Computing and Cybersecurity. Beyond academia, Dr. Mezher is a partner at Potech Consulting, where they lead the R&D team, and a founding partner of its development arm, ObSoft. Additionally, Dr. Mezher serves as the Head of Technology at Siren Analytics.
