Bassem Habr, MD, M.Sc. Dr. Bassem Habr is a physician in the Department of Pulmonology and Medical Intensive Care at Hôtel-Dieu de France (HDF). He completed his training at Université Paris Diderot and Université d’Angers. Dr. Habr specializes in respiratory rehabilitation and oversees the respiratory rehabilitation unit within the Department of Pulmonology and Medical Intensive Care. He serves as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. Dr. Habr is a member of several professional societies, including the European Respiratory Society (ERS), the French Society of Intensive Care Medicine (SRLF), the French Pulmonology Society (SPLF), the Lebanese Critical Care Medicine Society (LCCM), and the Lebanese Pulmonology Society (LPS). His research focuses on the areas of intensive care myopathy, nutrition in intensive care, and hematology.
