Rania Abdo (PhD) holds a doctorate ineducational sciences from Saint Joseph University of Beirut a masters degree in psychology (clinical option). She is currently a lecturer ineducational psychology at the Lebanese Institute of Educators at USJ where she teaches several undergraduate masters courses in the areas of: the psychology of learning and learning to read, learning difficulties and disorders, cognitive development of children, cognitive neuropsychology of learning and research methodology. It also provides workshops and training in the same areas. In addition, she directs master's theses in Orthopedagogy and in Clinical and Pathological Psychology (cognitive and behavioral approach). She is the delegate of the Lebanese Institute of Educators to the USJ research council. Dr. Abdo has to her credit publications innational and international scientific journals and two research projects: “Self-regulation of Arabic and French reading comprehension of 4th and 5th grades students in private French-speaking schools in the Greater Beirut region and teaching practices of reading comprehension in these grades: a comparative study.” . Research project funded by the research council of Saint Joseph University (code: ILE-18). Project manager. “Orthopedagogical Evaluation: foundations, process and reality” code “ILE19”. Research project funded by the research council of Saint Joseph University (code: ILE-18). Principal investigator.
