After earning a Master’s degree in Economics from Saint Joseph University, I pursued further studies at the University of Paris I – Sorbonne: a DESS in Economics, specializing in Energy Economics, and a DHERS in International Economics. My thesis, titled “Investment Strategies of Multinational Agro-Food Companies in Developing Countries,” was awarded a Très Bien distinction and granted the right to publication. I worked as a specialized journalist for the French economic daily La Tribune Desfossés, covering publicly traded companies on the Paris Stock Exchange. Later, I served as the communications officer for a French press and publishing company. Elected as a municipal councilor in the town of Le Pecq-sur-Seine, I represented the senator-mayor of the municipality in dealings with public and private schools in the area. Upon returning to Lebanon, I dedicated myself to teaching. Since 2000, I have been a faculty member at the FGM (Faculty of Management and Business) and have taught Economics across various faculties at Saint Joseph University, including ISSA, the School of Translators, ESIB, and FS. As the coordinator of the third-year undergraduate program at FGM since 2015, I passionately and devotedly support our students throughout their undergraduate journey and beyond. Driven by a deep sense of justice and social equity, I was a founding member of the ALDIC Association, established by Maitre Karim Daher, which aims to inform Lebanese taxpayers about their rights as well as their obligations.
