Claudine Abdelmassih is an architect, lecturer, independent journalist. She served as project director, administrator, and vice president of the Arab Center for Architecture in Beirut. Her interest in the cultural and social dimensions of architecture has led her to explore various fields, including urban planning, sociology, heritage, and sustainable development, through research, advocacy, and civic engagement for built heritage and environmental preservation. She initiated and organized a campaign and competition on sustainable architecture in Lebanese universities at the Urban Observatory Majal (ALBA-Balamand University) and the Revealing Architecture" campaign on modern heritage and cities at the Arab Center for Architecture. In 2018, she coordinated the first Lebanese pavilion at the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale, with curator Hala Younes. She is also the author of a "Guide to Accessibility for People with Disabilities" in buildings and public spaces in Lebanon.
