Dr Karine Abou Khaled received her medical training at Saint Joseph University in Beirut before undertaking neurology residency at Drexel University (Philadelphia, USA) then clinical neurophysiology epilepsy fellowships at Columbia University, New York. She is an Associate Professor of Neurology at Saint Joseph University is currently practicing at Hotel-Dieu de France hospital in Beirut. Her main interests are clinical research in continuous EEG, sleep and epilepsy, status epilepticus and neuroimaging. She’s a fellow of the American Epilepsy Society, and co-founder and current president of Epsilon (medical and social association for Epilepsy in Lebanon).
