She is a dedicated physiotherapist educator with a strong commitment to advancing the field of physiotherapy. Roula has built a distinguished career characterized by both academic achievements and practical experience. Roula completed her higher education at the Institute of Physiotherapy of the Faculty of Medicine at Saint Joseph University, where she earned multiple degrees, including a Diploma in Physiotherapy in 2004, a Masters degree in Neuro Rehabilitation in 2006, a Master's degree in Physiotherapy Research in 2012, and a Doctorate in Physiotherapy in 2016. Additionally, she obtained a University Degree in University Pedagogy in 2013. Professionally, Roula has been a core member and study coordinator at the Institute of Physiotherapy at Saint Joseph University since 2009, where she has played a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of future physiotherapists. Her dedication to teaching is evident in her positions as a lecturer since 2016 and a non-permanent teacher from 2007 to 2016. Roula is also recognized as a clinical coach, guiding students through practical applications of their training. With a focus on neurological rehabilitation, Roula has been treating patients at home since 2004 and has also worked at the Centre Notre Dame de Physiothérapie from 2004 to 2009. She is a member of the Order of Physiotherapy in Lebanon, reflecting her commitment to professional standards in the field. In addition to her clinical and educational roles, Roula is actively involved in scientific activities. She has participated in numerous conferences, presenting research on topics such as the management of neurological conditions and the role of physiotherapy in preventing falls. Her recent contributions include oral presentations on the effects of taping on athletic performance and continuous education workshops aimed at developing skills relevant to the age of artificial intelligence. She continues to inspire her students and colleagues through her dedication to physiotherapy and her commitment to lifelong learning.
