Nay Lahoud Merheb, a leading figure in Lebanese arts culture, has dedicated her life to preserving and promoting traditional Lebanese dance. Born into a family deeply rooted in the performing arts, she was exposed to the world of dance from a young age. Her brother, the renowned dancer Romeo Lahoud, served as both her mentor and collaborator. Her professional career took shape when she joined her brothers folklore troupe, where she honed her skills as a dancer and choreographer. It was through this experience that she met her husband, Alain Merheb, with whom she later founded a successful dance school specializing in dabke and oriental dance. In 2001, Nay reopened her dance school at Tamareen, where she offered traditional oriental dance classes.
