Georges Germanos is a dedicated academic and technical expert specializing in environmental science and physics. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Master’s Program in Environmental Science and Managment at the Faculty of Science at Saint Joseph University (USJ) in Lebanon. In this role, he is committed to advancing the field of environmental education and research. Dr. Germanos has been an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at USJ since 2019, where he imparts his extensive knowledge in physics to students while fostering a dynamic learning environment. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in General Physics, followed by a Master’s in Physics and Instrumentation, culminating in a Ph.D. in Physics, which he obtained while collaborating with the University of Western Brittany in France. With a robust background in air quality measurement instruments and device operation and maintenance, Dr. Germanos has established himself as a technical expert in the field. His research contributions include several publications in reputable journals, focusing on air quality assessments and the physicochemical properties of environmental materials. Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, Dr. Germanos is dedicated to both teaching and research, striving to make a meaningful impact on environmental science in Lebanon and beyond.
