Professor El Hage holds a Doctorate degree in Science education from the Montpellier University in France. He also holds a Master’s degree in Biology, a certificate of professional aptitude in secondary teaching (CAPES), a “Training of Trainers” diploma and an “Executive Leadership“ Certificate from the University of Viriginia USA. Professor El Hage is an associate researcher at the LIRDEF Laboratory at the Montpellier University, a designer and moderator of adult training sessions, and a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Education at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ). As an education consultant, he has headed national and international projects. After having held the position of Head of Research, Head of Studies, Vice-Dean, and then Dean of the Faculty of Education at the Saint Joseph University up to September 2016, he now holds the position of “Delegate of the Rector for Professional Development and Lifelong learning”. He is also the Chairholder of the Chair “Fondation Diane” in Education for Eco-Citizenship and Sustainable Development of the “Diane” foundation at Saint Joseph University. He is also the Vice-President of the Association for the Development of Education Assessment Methodologies (ADMEE)-Europe and the founder of its Lebanese section and national Delegate of UNESCO Chair “Global Health and Education”. He is also member of the advisory board of the “International foundation for women's empowerment” and member of Lebanese Society of Psychoanalysis (SLP). Professor El Hage is also the author of several international conferences and scientific publications.
