I am currently in the final year of my doctoral studies in Applied Mathematics, pursuing a PhD jointly between École Centrale de Nantes (under the supervision of Mazen Saad) Saint Joseph University of Beirut (under the supervision of Toni Sayah, with co-supervision by Georges Chamoun). My doctoral research focuses on optimal control of partial differential equations, numerical analysis, numerical simulations. Alongside my research, I am deeply committed to teaching. This academic year, I have the opportunity to teach first-year engineering students at École Centrale de Nantes, conducting both theoretical tutorials and practical lab sessions starting from February 2025. Last year (February 2024), I also taught first-year engineering students, covering both tutorials and lab sessions. Furthermore, this year, I am teaching second-year bachelor students in Data Science, focusing on calculus. Additionally, I have experience in private tutoring. In 2021, I was honoured to receive the Henry Lebesgue Excellence Scholarship, awarded by the Henry Lebesgue Centre in Nantes, where I completed my master’s degree in Analysis and Probability. My expertise spans several areas, including optimal control, partial differential equations, finite volume methods, and finite element methods.
