Souheir Osta holds a PhD in Business Sciences from University Paris IX Dauphine. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business Management (FBM) at Saint Joseph University (USJ) in Beirut. She began her career at the Lebanese Ministry of Finance as a tax auditor she is currently Head of Compliance Department, South Lebanon Regional Directorate. She is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AlS). Souheir is a member in the Lebanese AIS Chapter (LAIS), a founding member of the MENA-AIS chapter and a member of the research committee of the 5IR" (5th Industrial Revolution) research team on topics regarding the digital transformation, the artificial intelligence and everything related to technology and its social impact among which lies on auditing, accounting and finance but everything from a social perspective. Souheir is the author of many articles covering the 4th Industrial revolution and its implications on various field and sectors.
