From a war-torn country in the Middle East to a peaceful prosperous province in North America, I had the privilege of experiencing two vastly different realities of life. I grew up in a small village attended a French-speaking school where I developed an appreciation for languages. This passion led me to pursue translation studies at Université Saint-Joseph. Later, I moved to Canada where I had the opportunity to explore a unique approach to Legal translation while teaching French as a second language to English-speaking public servants. During this period, I came to appreciate how the integrity of citizens plays a crucial role in promoting a healthy and prosperous society. Upon returning to my country, I realized that its progress and stability depend fundamentally on the active contributions of its people. This return brought with it a profound sense of belonging and a renewal commitment to strengthening the well-being of my home country, Lebanon.
