Amal Dabbous is currently an Associate Professor of Finance and Economics at the Faculty of Business Administration at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) and the Finance Department Chair. She received her Masters in Financial Economics from the American University of Beirut and her PhD in Economics from Concordia University, Canada. Dr. Dabbous is also a member of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Business Administration at USJ and a member of the Lebanese Association of Information Systems. She has published in several international journals including: Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Renewable Energy, Journal of Environmental Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, Research in International Business and Finance, Journal of Risk Finance, and, Behaviour & Information Technology. Her research interests are: Sustainable Finance, FinTech, Sustainability, Energy and Environmental Economics, Technological Innovations (FinTech, Sharing Economy, Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence) and their impact on the environment, sustainable development, corporations, and, consumer behavior in the digital world
