Dr. Alexandre Monnier is a full-time Lecturer at the USJ since September 1, 2022. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 2006, Master’s degree in Polymers and Surfaces in 2009, and his PhD in Physico-chemistry of polymers in 2012 from the University of Rouen (France). He also completed a post-doctoral research at UMR 5007 LAGEP, Lyon 1 University. Since his arrival in Lebanon in 2016, Dr. Monnier has taught general chemistry, organic chemistry and solution chemistry, kinetics and biomaterials at USJ in the Faculties of Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, but also at ESIB and ESIAM. Dr. Monnier also conducts research on the formulation and characterization of polymer-based formulations and materials for biomedical, pharmaceutical and packaging applications.
