Born in 1992 in Beirut, Rim Aldbaissy earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics in 2013, followed by a master's degree specializing in partial differential equations and numerical analysis, both from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, Faculty of Sciences. In 2019, she completed a Ph.D. in mathematics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut and Sorbonne University. She began her academic career as a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Sciences at Saint Joseph University (2018–2022). Between 2021 and 2022, she also taught at the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Institute of Business Administration at USJ. Since 2022, she has held the position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, where she teaches algebra and probability courses to preparatory class students. Her research focuses on applied mathematics: partial differential equations, and numerical analysis.
