Director of the Center for Arab Research and Studies (CREA) at Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (USJ), teacher-researcher and doctoral candidate in translation studies at the Beirut School of Translators and Interpreters (ETIB – USJ) . With more than 25 years of experience in teaching languages (French, Arabic, Lebanese) and translation across both higher education and schools, she is an expert in linguistics and pedagogy. Trainer of trainers and faculty representative at the Faculty of Education Sciences (FSEDU), and overseas teaching internships, while also teaching communication sciences. Expert and sworn translator at the Court of Appeal. In 2024, she contributed to the launching of the Arabic Foreign Language Diploma (DALE), an innovative milestone in the certification of modern standard Arabic for non-native speakers. Her professional experience also includes serving as: Director of the French department and teacher trainer at the College of the Holy Family in Cairo (Egypt); Arabic language coordinator, and Arabic and French teacher at the Grand Lycée franco-libanais de Beirut; French and translation teacher at Notre-Dame de Jamhour college (NDJ); head of the French department and French, dialectal Lebanese and literary Arabic teacher at the American Lebanese Language Center; French teacher at USJ Dubai; and trainer of trainers at the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) in Erbil (Iraq).
