Un artiste culturel polyvalent, Abdullah est un dramaturge et formateur chevronné, collaborant avec de nombreuses organisations syriennes et internationales. Il a participé à divers projets décriture, notamment théâtrale. Il a co-organisé Miniatures : Un mois pour la Syrie (2013) avec lAssociation Shams et "Agora : Plateforme pour les laboratoires de théâtre" (2014) avec Hananne Hajj Ali, tous deux à Beyrouth. Abdullah participe régulièrement à des forums culturels et artistiques et a collaboré avec des institutions renommées comme Lift (Royaume-Uni), the Lark (États-Unis) et le Royal Court (Royaume-Uni). Son travail de dramaturge et de metteur en scène se manifeste dans des productions telles que "Le seuil de douleur de Mme Ghada". Il a été membre du comité de sélection de "Dramaturgie contemporaine arabe" (IEVP 2012) et a participé au projet de la Conférence Ibsen "Un ennemi du peuple et les Piliers de la société : la tragédie de l'individu" (2014) avec la compagnie de théâtre Zoukak. Abdullah a remporté le premier prix du 19ème Concours Mohammed Teymour de créativité théâtrale pour "Damas - Alep", qui a également été finaliste du concours de la BBC pour la meilleure œuvre traduite en 2008. Membre fondateur et directeur exécutif d'Ettijahat-Culture Indépendante, il est un fervent défenseur des arts et de la culture indépendants. Il est titulaire d'un master et d'un doctorat de l'Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth.
