Mission

The Faculty of Nursing Science at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut is committed to advancing and sharing knowledge in the field of nursing. Its mission is to offer students academic training in nursing care that is specifically adapted to the Lebanese socio-cultural context. The Faculty plays a key role in training professionals capable of updating and innovating care practices that meet the needs of society from a humanistic (caring) perspective. Research in nursing conducted at the Faculty enriches the theoretical teaching and improves professional practice.

The Faculty also actively engages in national and international partnership projects aimed at generating new knowledge and advancing nursing care in Lebanon.

The vision of the Faculty of Nursing Science (FSI) aligns with the USJ 2025 Vision. As an institution, the Faculty aims to be the benchmark for excellence in university education in nursing science while fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment. It will continue to promote nursing research as a fundamental component of its curriculum and actively encourage interdisciplinary collaboration at the national and international levels.
