Description

The Institute of Management was established within the Faculty of Law in 1957. It initially offered a two-year program with evening classes for working professionals.
In 1969, USJ introduced a Bachelor in Management in response to growing demand from the business community. The program could be completed in three years by full-time students and five years by working students. In 1972, a Master in Management was introduced. Both programs were offered by the Department of Business Management, which became the Faculty of Business Administration and Management in 1980.

In 1986, the Faculty restructured its programs into three levels: a three-year Bachelor, a one-year Master, and a DAS/DESS requiring at least two years of study.

In 1999, the Faculty launched the International MBA in partnership with Paris Dauphine University and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University (IAE Paris), in collaboration with FNEGE.

In 2003, the Faculty adopted the European LMD system and ECTS and reorganized its programs into a three-year Bachelor, a two-year Master, and a PhD requiring at least three years of study. The Faculty is now known as the USJ Business School.
