This 75th volume of Proche-Orient Etudes Juridiques (POEJ) is fully dedicated to the laws of the United Arab Emirates and was published on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the UAE.
This volume compiles diverse academic articles on public budget law, economic hardship, public-private partnerships, and other subjects related to civil and commercial laws in the country.

This book is the fruit of a research project that brought together faculty members from various legal expertise who discussed multiple aspects of UAE laws, including Civil Procedural Laws, Environment and Sustainability, Green Bonds, Family Business, Arbitration, Comparative law, Maritime Laws, and other subjects. It is also the fruit of a coordination between the School of Law at Saint Joseph University Dubai and the Center for Legal Studies in the Arab World (CEDROMA), affiliated with the School of Law and Political Sciences of Saint Joseph University of Beirut. The research project was funded by Mohamed Abdulla Lawyers & Legal Consultants Dubai.
