انتسبت إلى جامعة سان جوزف دبي سنة 2012، تخرجت سنة 2016 بتقدير امتياز والأولى على الدفعة. بعد ذلك، التحقت الى دورة المحاماة بهدف الحصول على رخصة مزاولة المحاماة في دولة الامارات العربية المتحدة. وبعدها بمدة قصيرة، حظيت بفرصة كبيرة في هيئة المعرفة والتنمية البشرية في دبي وذلك بمنصب مساعد مدير للشؤون القانونية

لقد استمتعت جدا بتجربة دراسة الماجستير في الترجمة في جامعة سان جوزف دبي، حيث تلقيت العلم على ايدي أفضل أساتذة مدرسة الترجمة بيروت، لدرجة انه ما إن حصلت على شهادة الماجستير في الترجمة حتى بدأت بدراسة البكالوريوس في القانون في كلية الحقوق في جامعة سان جوزف في دبي.

كانت دراستي في كلية الترجمة في جامعة سان جوزف دبي فرصة ذهبية بالنسبة لي، وأتذكر أنني لم أجد الأمر سهلاً في البداية لأني لم أمتلك خلفية عن الترجمة ولكنني مع كل حصة كنت أتعلق بالترجمة أكثر فأكثر وكانت لكل مادة تفردها في كم المعلومات وأسلوب التعليم. مازلت اليوم أتذكر نصائح جميع المدرسين وحتى أن التواصل والدعم لم يتوقف بعد التخرج. نصحت بالجامعة للعديد من الأصدقاء الذين يهتمون بمجال اللغة والترجمة. شكراً لكل من سعى ويسعى من إدارة الجامعة لتقديم كل ما هو مفيدة للطلبة

Greetings from Dubai I am very passionate about languages and translation is a field that I always loved to explore. When I decided to pursue my Master in Translation and found the USJ Dubai announcement on the internet, I didn’t hesitate for one minute in registering. Being a Lebanese and knowing the honorable history of this flagship university and the generations of Lebanese who graduated from USJ ever since it was founded in 1875, I thought this would be a great opportunity and a degree from USJ is highly recognized worldwide. Having completed my Master’s degree in Translation Studies at Saint Joseph University Dubai, I can’t express my gratitude enough for this University and to the faculty members. The Master’s degree program urged me to dig deeper in my field and expanded my horizons, and taught me the fundamentals of a successful career in translation. The faculty invested in me as a student and a person, and their encouragement drove me to reach my target. I have subsequently gained valuable experience from USJ when I joined their faculty as a new member of the translation department after graduation. USJ came to me as a miracle when I was struggling to find the best program for Translation. What distinguish the Translation Program in USJ, is the amount of practical work you will go through. The theoretical part also has its enough share, but the practical work given will help you improve your skills. I advise all the students to always improve their skills by reading different type of text, books, articles, etc. and to always try translating whatever they read.

Being a Lebanese and having studied previously in Lebanon, I am aware of the Heritage and level of education USJ provides to its students. When I knew that there is a branch in Dubai, I found it as the perfect opportunity for me to continue in a Higher education degree especially with such a reputable and accredited University. I have attended multiple lectures with visiting professors from Lebanon and found their experience and courses to be very enticing and stimulating for me to further enhance my skills and capabilities.
