Saint Joseph University Dubai held its 2024 Graduation Ceremony on 26 June 2024 at Park Hyatt Hotel, Dubai Creek. The Ceremony was held in the presence of Professor Salim Daccache, Rector of Saint Joseph University of Beirut, Mr. Essam Al Tamimi, Mr. Ali Galadari, Mrs. Ayesha Bin Qalban, Mr. Salim Sader, Mr. Rafael Khlat and Mr. Elie Yared, all members of the University’s Advisory Board, deans and faculties, senior judges and lawyers and representatives of major companies and law firms in the UAE.
In his speech, Professor Daccache highlighted the success of the Dubai campus since its foundation in 2008 and stressed on the university’s will to develop the campus by offering new programs and opening new schools in the near future.
Professor Marie Claude Najm, dean of the School of Law, and Professor Gina Bou Fadel Saad, dean of the School of Translation, addressed the graduates with warm wishes of success and cheerful congratulations for their achievements.
Speaking on behalf of the Dubai Campus, Dr. Nathalie Sabbagh, Director of campus, thanked the students, their families, and the university’s partners for their loyalty and support to the university.
During the ceremony, student representatives form each program delivered speeches and shared with the audience their experience at USJ Dubai. They expressed their gratitude for the level of commitment and excellence of faculty members and staff.
To mark the 15th anniversary of the Dubai campus, 15 alumni were honored for their academic and professional paths. They received a university’s trophy, marking the 15th anniversary.
The ceremony was also the occasion to honor the university’s partners, and specifically this year “Mohamed Abdulla Lawyers and Legal Consultants” for its commitment to support legal research through the publication of a volume on UAE’s recent legal developments.
Saint Joseph University Dubai wishes its graduates a prosperous future and welcomes them to its extended family of alumni.
