Yves Choueifaty is a graduate of ENSAE and a trained mathematician. He founded TOBAM and developed the Maximum Diversification® approach in 2005.

He previously served as CEO of Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management (CLAM), after holding several senior leadership roles, including Chief Investment Officer and Head of Financial Engineering and Quantitative Management.

Yves Choueifaty is also engaged in human rights initiatives. He is a member of the Paris Committee and the Finance Committee of Human Rights Watch, and serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board of WeNow, a climate neutrality initiative supported by the United Nations. He is also a board member of RDCL (Lebanese Business Leaders Association).

A recognized leader in asset management, he was named “Chief Investment Officer of the Year” in 2015 (Funds Europe) and “Asset Management Leader of the Year” in France in 2016 (AGEFI). A pioneer of the smart beta movement, he is a frequent speaker at international conferences and a member of the 300 Club, a global group dedicated to redefining the foundations of investment and asset management.
