Christelle SAGHBINI

Christelle Saghbini is the Head of Pharma International at Sanofi, overseeing the pharmaceutical portfolio across LATAM, Africa, Central and South Europe, Eurasia, South-East Asia and Australia. In her role, she is responsible for developing patients’ access to medicines, launching new products, and transforming the way Sanofi operates across international markets to align with patients’ and customers’ needs.

Since joining Sanofi in 2000, Saghbini has been driven by her mission to positively impact people’s lives. Throughout her career, she has held various positions in marketing and management within the French affiliate, in Europe and Africa, and more recently as Head of Innovate to Grow Markets, where she was responsible for driving growth and fostering innovation initiatives.
Having worked in multicultural environments, she enjoys team management and believes that diverse teams foster collaboration and drive innovation. She has also supported several social responsibility initiatives, particularly during her tenure as General Manager of Egypt and in her current role.
Saghbini is a pharmacist, holding a degree from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ). She also earned a specialized Masters in Pharmaceutical Marketing from ESCP Europe.
She was recognized by Forbes as one of the “Middle East 100 Power Businesswomen” in 2020 and 2021. Additionally, she served as Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur for France in Egypt from 2019 to 2022. Currently, she is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
