The Bachelor in Insurance Science provides students with an education focused on insurance and risk management. Given the everyday risks—such as illnesses, accidents, fires, and property loss—the insurance sector addresses a growing market demand. The program includes technical knowledge in insurance, along with a mandatory internship that facilitates a swift entry into the job market, while also covering theoretical aspects of risk management. Additional courses encompass legal, economic, and quantitative techniques. There is a strong emphasis on developing transversal, cross-cutting skills, including digital competencies, that are essential in today’s job market. This degree serves as a pathway to a Master’s program that further deepens the acquired knowledge. This degree opens up various career opportunities in a highly competitive and dynamic job market, including insurance companies, insurance brokerage firms, banks, financial institutions, public works companies, engineering offices, consulting firms, portfolio management companies, hospitals, and more.
