A Time of Gratitude

This concert features extracts of two masses by Czech composer Zelenka: Missa Omnium Sanctorum, ZWV 21 and Missa sanctissimae trinitatis, ZWV 17. It is in the choir's mission to perform obscure pieces and introduce them to the public and we are thrilled to have presented this premiere in Lebanon. This concert is dedicated to the heroes that have placed their lives and livelihoods at risk to ensure our health and safety. Healthcare workers have been on the front lines for a long time, working tirelessly to take care of COVID patients and saving lives after the August explosion that shook our country. Because of their sacrifices and heroism, we are able to stand strong. Because of them, we are still here, and because of them, we are able to sing and give back what we can in gratitude and appreciation. Through this concert we were able to raise 70,000,000 LBP for the healthcare workers of Hotel Dieu Hospital.
