Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) in Estonia is organizing 3 summer school sessions dedicated to engineering students:

  1. TalTech Secure e-Governance Summer School 2019

7-20 July 2019

As the business models and service ecosystems are shifting more into the networked world, both in the private and public sector, there is a strong need to understand the background of e-services from the idealization to realization.

  1. TalTech Summer School on Practical Robotics 2019

From 8-21 July 2019

TalTech welcomes BA and MA students with relevant background (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, information technology, etc.) or students interested in robotics and programming to join in our 2-week summer program on robotics.

The aim of the course is to give overview of the use of microcontrollers for robotic applications and CAD modelling with 3D printing for robot mechanical design. To develop practical skills and knowledge of the robotics and apply acquired knowledge for the practical robotic tasks.

  1. Summer School on Digital Cities 2019

14-28 July 2019

Digital Cities Summer School is EIT Digital's summer school that takes place in collaboration with TalTech.
The summer school topic is Integrating Personalized Mobility Solutions for Digital Cities. During the two-week program the students will explore several applications for seamless mobility using public open data concepts

Application procedure:

  1. Interested students should fill USJ’s outgoing mobility form and send it to the International relations office.
    PS: Students must also get their Dean's approval on whether or not the course they have chosen will be validated upon return at USJ. A written note by the Dean is a must.
  2. The international relations team will nominate them.
  3. Students will then have to proceed with the host university's application.
