Being a Responsible Citizen: Teacher Training at the Saint John Brasilia College of Wisdom

It is under this theme that the CEEDD Chair organized, on 8 September 2016, a training course for about 250 teachers of the Saint John Brasilia College of Wisdom. This has been broken down into various sub-themes, ranging from participatory citizenship to interdisciplinary project pedagogy, including Eco citizenship, environmental education, biological and cultural diversity, fair governance and the green economy. This training began with a conference around these themes, followed by a workshop where teachers worked out the interdisciplinary projects that they implemented along with their students throughout the year.

At the end of the academic year, the students exhibited their interdisciplinary projects at the students' congress, organized by the Chair.

Être un Citoyen Responsable: Formation des enseignants du collège de la Sagesse Saint-Jean Brasilia 

C’est sous ce thème que la Chaire CEEDD a organisé, le 8 septembre 2016, une formation auprès d’environ 250 enseignants du Collège de la Sagesse Saint-Jean Brasilia. Celle-ci s’est déclinée en différents sous-thèmes, allant de la citoyenneté participative à la pédagogie de projet interdisciplinaire, tout en passant par l’écocitoyenneté, l’éducation à l’environnement, la diversité biologique et culturelle, la gouvernance équitable et l’économie verte. Cette formation a débuté par une conférence autour de ces thématiques, suivi d’un atelier de travail où les profs ont élaboré les projets interdisciplinaires qui ont mis en place avec leurs élèves tout au long de l’année.

En fin d’année académique, les projets interdisciplinaires ont été exposés au congrès des élèves, organisé par la Chaire.
