The Fulbright Student Scholarship Program is back again to provide students with an opportunity to receive a scholarship that covers a maximum of two graduate academic years of study in the United States beginning in August 2017. The Fulbright Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State through the U.S. Embassy in Beirut.
The program was established in honour of former U.S. Senator J. William Fulbright and demonstrates the United States’ commitment to welcoming outstanding international students to pursue graduate study at U.S. universities.
The grant includes:
- roundtrip airfare between Lebanon and the United States,
- university tuition for two years,
- books,
- health insurance,
- stipend to cover lodging and living expenses.
The deadline to submit the online application and required transcripts, recommendation letters, and TOEFL for the program is Friday May 6, 2016.
