National Roundtable on Public Financial Reforms in Lebanon - ESA

15 march 2025

Dean of the USJ Business School, Prof. Fouad Zmokhol, had the pleasure and honor of actively participating in the National Roundtable on Public Financial Reforms in Lebanon, entitled “Challenges and Prospects”, organized by the Institute for Finance and Governance (IFG) at ESA Business School.

During his presentation, he emphasized that the newly formed government should focus on the following key areas:

1. Negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF)

2. Banking Sector Restructuring

3. Implementation of Anti-Corruption Measures

4. Social and Economic Development Initiatives

5. International Financial Support and Reconstruction Efforts

These reform plans represent a critical turning point for Lebanon, aiming to address deep-seated economic challenges and restore confidence among both citizens and international partners. Their success will depend on effective implementation, sustained political will, and active engagement with global financial institutions and donors.

At USJ Business School, we are committed to coaching and training our students so they become key actors in this strategy, planning, and restructuring process.
