A pleasure and honor for the Dean, Pr. Fouad Zmokhol, to have actively participated in the 2nd General Conference of Rectors (C2R) organized by the University Agency of Francophonie (AUF), held at the University of Sharjah (United Arab Emirates).
During his presentation at the panel "Employability, Career Inclusion and Integration of Skills in University Curriculum", he emphasized that we are undergoing a time of profound transformation, marked by rapid technological developments, increased globalization and major economic challenges. Therefore, it is crucial to prepare our youth for an ever-changing job market. Employability is no longer limited to a degree, it is based on three essential pillars:
Technical and academic skills gained through university education.
Competitive skills, such as communication, time management, critical thinking, and adaptability.
Hands-on experience, which allows students to better understand the realities of the working world.
