In a warm gathering marking the start and launch of the spring semester 2025 and coinciding with the 150th anniversary of Saint Joseph University (USJ), Father Salim Daccache, the rector of USJ, and Dr. Fouad Zmokhol, the Dean of the USJ Business School, visited the USJ South Campus in Saida.
The event brought together students, deans, department heads, faculty members, and staff to celebrate academic achievements, welcome new students, and showcase the campus's contributions to the region. Special highlights included announcing new programs, such as the Bachelor's degree in Special Education, and the recognition of top-performing students with awards.
We emphasized the importance of values such as vision, methodology, and solidarity in building students' character and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. The visit concluded with a tour of the campus’s advanced laboratories, reflecting the university’s ongoing commitment to innovation and development.
We would like to give special thanks to our colleague, Pr. Dina Sidani, head of the south campus, for organizing this event and for her exceptional continuous achievements.
