USJ Dubai is looking to hire a Full Time Faculty Member in the School of Sciences
The School of Sciences at Saint Joseph University Dubai Campus invites applications for a Head of the Bachelor’s in Data Science program. It is a full-time teaching position at Assistant/Associate Professor level.
Requirements
- PhD in Mathematics from QS ranked University (top 600).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. French is a plus.
- Record of publications in leading international journals.
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is a must.
- Experience in the UAE Higher Education sector is a plus.
- Agility in handling Microsoft tools is highly recommended.
Additional preferred requirements
- Experience in accreditation processes at national and international levels.
- Experience in students’ affairs and in dealing with students as key stakeholders.
- Experience in administrative affairs in higher education institutions.
Candidates must be prepared to offer high-quality teaching at the Bachelor level. Preference will be given to those committed to service and academic program development and who are research active.
Teaching and research activities will be in the English language.
Start date
June 2025.
The University Profile
Saint Joseph University has been established in Beirut since 1875. It opened a branch in Dubai in 2008 and is currently offering the Bachelor of Law Program, an LLM in Business Law, and a Master of Translation. It will launch a Bachelor in Data Science in September 2025. The university and its programs are fully accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in the UAE. Saint Joseph University is located in the Dubai International Academic City, Building 11, Ground Floor.
